The Holy Scale – Diabetes 365, Year 2 – Day 28

By Courtney | No Rookie Marks »

I asked my mom to tell me how many ounces of carrots I had and handed her the bag. her response was to put them on the scale.

The scale, which we bought when I was 11 (17 years ago) when I got diabetes, which I thought we had gotten rid of, still existed.

It became my favorite friend this week as it measured my fruits and veggies and I used my calorie king book to figure out how many carbs was in everything.
