2 weeks ago I posted about how I was going to do the hundred push up challenge; today is my 2 week check in, I had to do the test again to see where I’d be placed for week 3. I managed to do 23 push ups before I couldn’t go any further and just collapsed to the floor.
I’ve come a long way from the 5 I started at, but even still, I’ve got to get to 4 times as many as I pulled off today. I’ve also got 4 more weeks to work my way up to that 100. I won’t say that it’s easy, because it’s not, push ups are something I’ve always struggled with, the upper body strength just isn’t there…or I should say, wasn’t there, it’s obviously building now. I can remember in grade school, I was always better at sit ups than I was push ups…
I’m still going strong through, and mostly, I don’t so much feel the after effects in my arms so much as I do through my abs, it’s really strange to me…
Toni, holla back girl, tell me how you’re doing!

Oh my goodness, I was scared you were going to ask. Not good. I am having some right shoulder issues, I swear it is not an excuse. The doc can’t really give me anything as I am trying to get preggers so it is basically live with the pain right now.
Anyhoo, push-ups don’t fit in right now.
I am proud of you, keep up the good work!!! As soon as I can I will start. We used to have some push-up contest from time to time so I am anxious to get my numbers up in case it happens again, I can blow everyone away!!! lol!!!
LOL! You’re the only person that openly spoke that they were going to do it so I had to ask! I’ll keep checking in, with the hopes that the shoulder pain is gone
