Can You Hear Me Now?

Last month on April 14th, diabetic bloggers around the world raised their voice for Type 1 Diabetes. This month (May) the theme of NaBloPoMo is voices. When I saw that, I thought to myself, this is going to be difficult. Even now I’m not doubting that it will be hard, but I have one advantage for tonight. My voice is out there.

On Tuesday the ADA sent out a press release about the Tour de Cure. “Take the Ride of Your Life: The American Diabetes Association Holds Annual Tour de Cure

The message from me this time, get out there and ride, there’s a cure to be found. I’m going to hopefully not have to ride in all 84 rides (because hopefully a cure is found before then), but I will ride until a cure is found, even if it means that I’m riding long after I’ve ridden in every ride available.

If you visit here often, and you see a post saying that I’m riding in an area near you, please contact me, I’d love to have you join me, if there’s one thing that we have in common, it’s that we’ll be riding for the same thing.
