A Month of Letters

I was cleaning out my inbox today when I saw an email from the NaBloPoMo peeps. They extended NaBloPoMo to go beyond National Blog Posting Month, which is November to have it every month; and each month they have a theme.

This month’s theme is “letters” and the way they put it is:

“For writers, this can mean letters to the editor, love letters, fan letters, ransom notes — I’m not encouraging illegal activity, but the list is endless.

For typography lovers, it’s a month full of fonts!

For photographers, it’s license to go out and shoot things both manmade and natural that resemble a member of our beloved alphabet.”

The word “alphabet” got me, and as I’m sitting here writing this, I wonder, am I going to be able to keep up with the commitment I’m about to make. I would say that I’m going to try, but the word “try” implies failure. So I’m going to “do”. I know there’s only 26 letters in the alphabet and that there’s 30 days in April, but I’m sure I can come up with something for the extra 4 days.

For the alphabet, I’m going to share pieces of me, I guess that’s what I do anyways, as that is what a blog does, it shares pieces of you (your thoughts at a minimum), but perhaps this will give you further insight into me, help you learn a little bit more about me.
