Diabetes 365
Today i got a Flickr email saying that I was Bernard’s newest contact. I of course had no earthly idea who Bernard was, but if he wanted to be my friend, fine, that’s cool, let me read about you.
Somehow I ended up on his Diabetes 365 page on Flickr. Ok, it makes sense to me now, he’s a diabetic, I’m a diabetic, we have something in common.
The point of Diabetes 365 is to take a daily photo that illustrates some aspect of daily living with diabetes and help explain what it’s like to live with diabetes every day of the year.
It’s a huge task I think but I’m going to try it. I’ve back dated some of the pictures I already had taken before this came up. So, here we go 365 days of diabetes. I should be able to show that…how hard can it be right, I mean, I’ve already lived with it for over 5475 days (15 years). We’ll see what I come up with…
